I have strong roots in the Dinwiddie area. For more than 30 years, I have provided powerful defense of traffic tickets, charges after traffic accidents, reckless driving charges and more.

I got my start in law because to me, the life of a lawyer just seemed like it would be a good fit. I knew all of the local lawyers, and they were respected community members. It was something I wanted for myself, so I went to law school at the University of Virginia and made the wish a reality.

There’s nothing I haven’t seen when it comes to traffic law. When you have a problem, I’m the solution.

Even if it is nothing more than a phone call, my favorite part of my job is getting to talk to different people every day. Because many of my clients are drivers from another state, my practice gives me the opportunity to meet and interact with people from all over the country. Having exposure to people from all over the country is something I feel is very undervalued these days, and my job gives me the opportunity to do so.

Outside of my practice, my favorite thing to do is travel. I make sure to take a few trips each year, and some of my favorite destinations are Europe and the American West. However, I don’t view traveling as a vacation. When I travel, I work hard to make sure that I absorb the scenery, the culture, the people and everything else about a new place. Vacation is when you go and lie down at the beach. Traveling is when you immerse yourself in a new culture and way of life.
